Sounds Interesting! Level 2 is all about exploring simple sounds and developing an awareness of self, others and the wider world through sound.
Your child might respond to a variety of sounds, make simple sounds deliberately with their voice or sound makers, or use sound to engage with other people. They might also connect movement and feelings with sound and show an emerging awareness of self, others and the wider world through sound.

Play me different kinds of music and see how I react
Take me out to hear sounds and music in the wider world

Encourage me to make all sorts of different sounds myself
