Take me out to hear sounds and music in the wider world

Think how different places have different sounds and music associated with them

Visit shopping centres, and spend some time in different shops: each will have its own music and lighting and smell – ready-made multi-sensory environments! – but be careful I don’t get overwhelmed
See if I enjoy being out in the countryside, or on a children’s farm – let me soak up the sounds and sights and smells of nature
Take me to see churches, temples, mosques and synagogues and, if possible, experience the rituals associated with different traditions of worship, which can be rich multisensory events
If you can, take me to the seaside, to hear the sound of the waves and feel the breeze on my face and smell of seaweed on the beach
Record the sounds that I hear in the world around so I can re-live them when I get home
