Little Soundabout: Level 3 | Card: 17 | Category: Reactive
Get close to me so I can see and feel your lips move when you repeat sounds; use Soundabout Music Tracks: Patterns

- Start by making patterns of sound that use your lips, such as ‘ma, ma, ma, ma, ma’ or ‘pa, pa, pa,pa, pa’
- Then sounds that use your tongue, like ‘tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh’ and ‘kuh, kuh, kuh, kuh, kuh’
- Then sounds using repeated short breaths, like ‘ha, ha, ha’, ‘he, he, he’ and ‘ho, ho, ho’ – let me feel your tummy move while you pant
- Make patterns of longer-lasting sounds like‘mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm’ or ‘sss, sss, sss, sss, sss’
- Make whistling patterns, ‘peep, peep, peep, peep, peep’
- Make a series of popping sounds with a finger inside your cheek
- Make ‘wah, wah, wah’ sounds with your hand on and off your mouth
