Think of all the different vocal sounds you can make that can be repeated
- Make patterns of sound that use your lips, like ‘ma, ma, ma, ma, ma’ or ‘pa, pa, pa, pa, pa’
- Make patterns of sound that use your tongue, such as ‘tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh’ and ‘kuh, kuh, kuh, kuh’
- Make sounds that use repeated short breaths, like ‘ha, ha, ha’, ‘he, he, he’ and ‘ho, ho, ho’
- Make patterns of longer-lasting sounds like ‘mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm’ or ‘sss, sss,sss, sss, sss’
- Make patterns by whistling, ‘peep, peep, peep’
- Make series of popping sounds with a finger inside your cheek
- Make ‘wah, wah, wah’ sounds by moving your hand on and o your mouth
- Try moving your head from side to side as you make the patterns
