Play this game by transferring the ‘call and response’ songs we have sung onto instruments

Try taking it in turns with me to sing the lines of children‘s songs that I’ve heard a lot; you start off to begin with
If I don’t get the hang of it at first, you could try modelling the musical dialogue for me with other family members or friends
Try using spirituals such as ‘Michael row the boat ashore’ and ‘Kum bah yah’, where one voice follows another with a different line
Try it using pop songs or theme tunes from my favourite children’s programmes or games:take it in turns to sing one phrase each
